Christmas Dinner
The three of us enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Kildrummy Inn.
Top : Deeside Smoked Pheasant and Caramelised Red Onion Salad; Champagne and Lemon Sorbet; Carrots, Boiled Potatoes and Cauliflower Gratin; Roast Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts
Middle : Roasted Smoked Breast of Deeside Pheasant stuffed with haggis and a wild mushroom sauce; Fillet of Scottish Salmon poached and topped with a fresh lemon, chive Hollandaise sauce; Venison Medallions with a red wine, juniper berry and cracked black pepper jus; Kildrummy Inn Steamed Marmalade Pudding with Drambuie custard
Bottom : Traditional Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce; Cranberry and Orange Meringue Roulade; Tea!
Having put that lot away, we were pretty stuffed and had to take our mince pies home with us!
