Frozen Palms

VERY cold last night, got a phone callat 7,00 this morning (Ouch!!) saying that where L does her Saturday market that the water pipes were frozen, so no Toilets, Cafe, or anything. End result, no Market today, Pity as it should have been a good one as regards takings. Never mind, we have a day for us, unexpectedly.
So get up at the normal time and into Town for breakfast in one of the Cafes,fresh rolls, cold meats, cheeses, marmalade or chocolate spread,with a mug of hot chocolate, with cream. Delicious and relaxed. Then a stroll round, just "Bummelling" and a drive to the Ferry to look at Father Rhine. Back home and I went looking for a Blip. At the summer kiosk the Terrace was well frosted and the palms were decorated, beautifully. Wasn't going to use anymore Frost Pictures, but this was so good.Got lots of pleasant photos,and the lake is icing over, slowly. Skating at the New Year ? Think Positive !!
Off to the Xmas Market this evening, when it is dark and the lights are so good.
