girl at work

got rid of the family on the 15.05 train. they're off for 4 days skiing before coming back in time for our new year's eve party. I get to keep the home fires burning and tidy up and work. soon as they were gone I armed myself with power tools and bin bags....
I haven't been on my own for so long for absolutely year. Spect I will be a bit weirded out by the time they return but right now I'm being amazed by how much one can get done if left to oneself!!

Yesterdays dramas were tidied up before they left. One helped out with packing and stripping beds before leaving, t'other came for a cuddle and we wrote BDAMF with lots of hearts on her arm (best daughter and mummy forever). Littlest had to cry a bit to leave me behind but is quite excited about skiing with cousins and friends, so went off happily anyway in the end.

Now I only have the problem that I have no man to send out to get more wood for the fire......what do I do?
