Boxing Day walk.

Thanks to wendles56 advice we took a walk to the local waterfall today to see it before the thaw, unfortunately I think most of the village had decided to do the same but it was lovely if a little treacherous.

This waterfall lies on Harden beck about halfway between where we live now and my childhood home, so it was very familiar territory. We walked back through the fields and woods that were my playground as a child so that was very special too -
then home to this delicious pie, cold cuts and pickles for a great boxing day lunch!
