Tree

I had a little holiday tree panic today. Work has been so busy today was the first time I had a chance to stop for the tree... only to drive by and realize that the guy I usually buy our tree from had already stopped selling for this year. I then drove further to go to my backup tree stand, only to find they too were done for the season. I began to think perhaps not only would I be overworked for the holidays but I'd be overworked and undertreed.

Luckily I found a place one town over that still had trees. I feel really attached to this tree, no one had picked it before, but to me it was one of the biggest accomplishments of my week. No lights yet, so just a basic shot for this evening. Lazy blipping as I sit next to it in my chair and inhale its pine goodness.

Oh, and I edited yesterday's image to decrease the contrast and saturation, let me know if you like it better this way. :-) I think composition is my strength, photoshop not so much so!
