Sophie's Choice

One of Sophie's favourite gifts this year was a bit of an afterthought/stocking filler. She has had it close to her for most of the last twenty-four hours, sitting *on top* of her DSI XL beside her bed overnight.

We're about to drive to Belfast to visit my parents and of course, the snow globe, with it's pictures of me and Sophie on one side and Gerry and Sophie on the other, is traveling first class.
