VERY VERY NEARLY TRAGIC

Great Christmas dinner and celebrations, then off to bed after a long day.
Left a candle burning on the table, battery removed from smoke detector!!!

Just plain luck that no one died here at 2 in the morning.

Usually we get a call to someone with their kitchen on fire on Chrissy day, like the time when the biggest ever turkey was squashed into a tiny oven, and because the oven door wouldn't close the adjacent cupboards caught fire from the heat.
