Today's blip is of the Christmas lights over the River Cart in Paisley. They're nothing spectacular, but I like the reflections in the water.

Today was my last day at work until 7th January. Things have been hectic recently so I'm really looking forward to the break. The office was in full festive flow today. We all brought in snacks so I've spent the day nibbling cupcakes, bread sticks and tablet. The boss gave us some bonus holidays and laid on some drinks too - a very nice end to the year.

This weekend will be spent wrapping presents, cleaning up the house, doing the last supermarket run before Christmas, and then finally settling down to the complete Buffy dvd collection (my gift to myself!)
