Too easily overlooked.

I nearly missed this fella. He comes out every year at the begining of advent. The miniature santa in his pocket gets moved as the days are counted down. He is in the wrong pocket for today but....

A tip I read today on Trey Ratcliff's site "Stuck in Customs" was to take tightly cropped shots of the details, especially the beloved beaten up stuff that gets used every year. The point being that one day it will be gone forever.

So I have shots of people, grub, booze, presents etc. but this guy has been with us for every Christmas since the kids were born. I daren't leave it another year.
