Ice on the Tay

There lots of ice sheets on the river Tay after all the freezing weather we've had.
This is at low tide this morning. We saw the bergs floating down river while we in the middle of the presents with the kids. Had a time-out and nipped down to catch them before the tide turned and took them back up river. It was like another world, ice against ice creaking and smashing. Thick layer of fog blocking the view towards Dundee, but with just the legs of the jack-up oil rig poking through the cloud.
