Next year I want a pasta machine from Santa
So, today for our Italian vegetarian Christmas meal (yes, we like a challenge), I made pasta. From scratch. Eggs and flour. And lots and lots of rolling. My hands hurt like hurting things, and I know they'll be sore again tomorrow.
But the ravioli stuffed with butternut squash and ricotta was a very tasty first course, followed by melanzana parmagiana, braised lentils and stuffed peppers. We are now as happily stuffed as those peppers!
