Eco beach faraway

Brilliant morning with the kids, the oldest and the biggest pain to get up every other day was up desparate to open his pressies.

The kids opened their stockings on our bed. I gave them an extra wee pressies of socks since they have taken my warm socks over the past month, no excude now.

More pressies and breakfast and down to the beach. It was freezing and my paddle was cancelled.

It was amazing frozen bits of sea, snow all the way down to the high tide mark and frozen sand.

Found some whelk sacks and filled them with sea weed, a result. They I collected some buckthorn berries to make a jelly.

Back home and fed the grannies, watched Dr Who, it was great, with all those goggles I was expecting a cameo part from one of out blippers.

Just had a cold roast tattie that was left over and just about to take Juno up the hill.
