Not for the squeamish!
While Santa, Donner, Blitzen and the rest of the team all returned safe, poor Rudolph didn't make it!
The above shows the sad fate of poor Rudi having been soundly mugged by one of Nature's most feared creatures - the Cocker Spaniel.
It is to be hoped that Santa & the elves can come up with a suitable replacement for next year.
