So the Christ Candle joins the four candles of Advent - and O is mesmerised.

It is not easy to pin-point the origins of Christmas. One can only say for certain that the birth of Jesus Christ was being celebrated in Rome by the year 336 A.D.

So pretty well 2000 years of finding the wonder of Christmas morning over again.

I hope it's a happy day - and if for some reason it can't be - maybe Christmas speaks even more to dark days than to sunny.
