takin' care on christmas eve

so a relatively nice day today... overcast but moderate temps.

i went to the garden to snap a few shots when up comes this old couple running along... they must've been in their 70's. i thought "wow" and then "good for them." i said my hello's and we chatted for a moment as they caught their breath... we exchanged the usual pleasantries about the weather. seems they run in the garden on a regular basis... they like to stay in shape, even at their age after all these years - and it being christmas eve is not a reason to take a day off. i said "good for you and merry christmas" and they turned to leave again.

i turned to continue snapping.... then thought what a cute couple they were i should snap them for my blip but they were already checking their watches, heads together and somehow it didn't feel right to interrupt.... so i didn't.

instead i impolitely captured them from behind so i wouldn't have to ask... sigh... what a coward.

right after that, the sun came shining through the clouds...
