Christmastide

Many lovely friends have taken a break in their own very busy day to drop by with hugs and greetings, little treats and presents... M and N arrived shortly after lunch on each others' heels, before heading off to visit with more friends and family.

Such thoughtfulness makes us feel so very blessed-- not just at this time of year, but every day-- for all we have been given in our lives.

Christmas day (tomorrow) begins Christmastide, or the 12 Days of Christmas in the popular carol.

Here they are depicted on beautiful plates given to us by M and her whole family.

And if we have loved, let us give thanks; as well as for the gifts the universe has brought, which we did not even seek yet found.
