Twas the afternoon before christmas

And a beautiful, crisp, sunny, cold and frosty day it is too. Just right for a wee escape with my camera on christmas eve. Spent ages following what I think was a reed bunting along the road but it managed to keep just out of reach of a decent pic.

Off now to spend the afternoon making mince pies and trying to figure out how to fit all the provisions into the fridge. I reckon by about 4pm the suggestion that we just leave everything out in the snow will start to be taken seriously. (ho,ho,ho!)
