Bakewell Birds ...

Today I popped into Bakewell. I love coming here when I'm visiting my parents. They have a great Cookshop where you can get all sorts of culinary knick-knacks. Of course there's the Bakewell Pudding Shop and a couple of really nice teashops too. I like to take my camera when I go and capture what's occuring, usually along the river. For a change there were more ducks and birds on the pavement than in the water today ... it was obviously too cold for them in the river. I like however how they were all lined up along the edge ... seems like they were contemplating whether to make the jump!!

We did give them some bread to keep them going in this cold snap. Hardy ducks and birds indeed!
