steps

Tikane, right, doesn't do steps, as Tracy, his owner, and I found out today when he went down the wooden steps into my garden with Ellie, and then howled because he couldn't get up again. No amount of dragging, coaxing, or of Ellie showing him how it was done and howling in sympathy, would entice the mega malamute up the steps. In the end, we slipped a blanket underneath him to form a sling and, one of us at each end, carried him up the steps...he is one heavy pooch! Anyway, this pic as taken before the rescue operation, and I wish I could've taken the pic of the sling moment but in the same way as Tiks isn't good with steps, Ellie isn't good with the Nikon...
