Lianne

My sister made it up today - no window washers all the way, she almost turned back at Stirling but decided to continue. I am glad she did. She brought my two nieces, Beth who is eleven and Lianne who is twenty three.

Lianne is a sweet soul with a sharp sense of humour (do not be fooled by that gentle face :) )and I think she is also a bit of a worrier! Its a family thing. She has a very strong artisitic streak but did not make it into art college and so went for a complete change of direction and is now studying some science type thing. We discussed how numbers can make us feel dizzy sometimes and her tutors efforts to explain pi to her. Woosh!

Sadly the visit was only a brief one. My sister is a midwife and has a 12 hour shift tomorrow and on Boxing day. Sadly not everyone gets to enjoy an extended break over the festive period

In other news, after Mr Lif's heinous crime of yesterday (fiddling with the camera settings) and his attempt to make it good by uploading one of his snaps, he has taken the plunge and come over to the dark side. You can see his first blip here

The robin is still eluding me....however, we have a new weapon in our armory....its only a matter of time! As an aside my sister did mention I need to get out more when I shrieked on more than one occassion LOOK THE ROBIN, ITS THAT DAMN ROBIN, ITS MOCKING ME :)
