Hotel 300 Metres

I thought today I would take a picture of the rather lovely and half timbered Maesmawr Hall Hotel, near Caersws in Mid Wales. However as we drove on to it's driveway the view you can see appeared to be a better option, so here it is in all its snowy splendour.

The Hotel can be seen, if you have fantastic vision as a dot in the distance. Three hundred metres to be exact.

For any tree lovers note the trees on the left are thinner than those on the right because (a) they have been replaced at various times because the prevailing winds blow them down and (b) the ones on the right are fatter, and older, because they are protected from these same winds by those on the left.

I'm sure I could have said that in fewer words, but there we go.
