Last Minute Rush

This is for you if you are rushing here and there, trying to do this and that.
Didn't think I had much to blip in my garden but took a shot of my wilted fennel plant. I think its hilarious. I think it looks like lots of tall thin people rushing about with hands full of shopping bags. Not unlike today then.

I've hung up my boots. I bought the food and am slowly working my way round the house with the help of my elfs. Fingers crossed our guests get here tomorrow and then the Sherry bottle will be opened and the party will begin. I'm ready to put my feet up, to reflect and take stock.

I have pared down this year and tried not to loose sight of it being a chance to see friends and family and enjoy each others company. Ask me on the 27th if I still want to do that!

For the moment, I am ready and can't wait to get the cellotape off that tin of Quality Street.
