Sebastian

We lost Sebastian 5 years ago.

This is a picture of him as a kitten sitting on top of the rabbit hutch.

My daughter, Sarah, is cat crazy ... her first word was "cat", not mam or dad like most other children and we've had many pre-owned cats over the years but Sebastian was always my favourite. We got him at about 5 weeks old, a scrawny and wild creature that had been abandoned. He turned out to be the most fun-loving and gentle of animals. He would pounce and bite your hand when playing but never once drew blood!! He was also fearless ... the local dogs were a little afraid of him and he was forever sitting on the top of the fence taunting the Alsation along the road!!

Sarah gave him his name. She was 5 years old when he arrived and she named him Sebastian after the cat in her favourite book at that time ... I kept the book.
