White Elephant

We did a white elephant gift exchange with all the students in the dorm today. (White elephant seems like an even more appropriate name here in Thailand.) It was actually a whole day of getting dressed up, cooking, celebration, eating, fun, and games for Christmas because many students have exams the day of Christmas (no fun!) The gift exchange was great. I think it was the first for many of the students where stealing of gifts was involved. Of the most common stolen...boxes of 24 instant noodle (Top Ramen) packs, bedding, and cookies...just proof we were playing with true college students!
