Christmas Day Concert

Robert Carlos, one of Brazil's leading singing artists, is playing a massive open air concert on Copacabana beach on 25th December. We once in good faith but mistakenly claimed to have heard him as a cocktail room pianist in Sao Paulo, only to find out later that it was his long term accompanist.

It's been a stressful day with news of an impending airport strike cancelling all holiday time flights in the country tomorrow when we are due to fly south. We now have an expensive Plan B involving a car and driver in place, which if we have to trigger it at least will provide a coastal odyssey of a drive!
