Golden Thistle

Since joining Blipfoto, I have become much more aware of details around me, things I would never have noticed before.

Today, I spotted this spray painted thistle in a bouquet of flowers. A rather nice change to holly and red berries at this time of year.

Holidays began at 4 pm - it feels good. However -11C doesn't, and I have been shivering in the house this evening, with the heating full on. My feet just won't warm up.
