The answer was so emphatic because we'd stopped in a layby to partake in Mehmet's finest burgers and sausage butties. Less than 3 miles from home.

Drove from home to Ma and Pa's near Derby today. Was worried about the journey as had heard horrid things about the weather but the roads had been well gritted and were fairly clear, so it didn't take us any longer than usual. As we pulled into the drive here TPD quipped "Glad you made me bring the shovel!". I was tempted to hit him with it..

The fact we're here means we've got more than beans on toast for Christmas dinner :-D
