through the crystal

waterford and other irish cut crystal seem to be a dime a dozen at my parents house. passed down through the generations, given as wedding gifts - we seem to have quite a bit. and i just love it. the gorgeous designs evoke thoughts of generations of irish family sitting down to a special dinner.

and soon it will be christmas- one of those special dinners when the nice crystal and real silver-ware is used.
