Slide back in time

Work and other factors blew any chance of blipping outdoors completely out the window today. Sore head from staying over in Edinburgh last night didn't help either ;)

Luckily i had something in reserve at home that I've been putting off for a while because not had any time.

Grandad found some old slides whilst poking about up in the loft, so I've borrowed a slide scanner from Crafty Girl and am all set to knock myself out trying to get them scanned before Xmas day.

Hopefully Granny S can sit with a glass of wine in her hand and recall names, faces and places after dinner and before Doctor Who (after that she's either puggled or sleeping!), as no one has a clue who some of the people are.

Is it even possible to get slides made anymore? In this digital age do people even use them?
