Chamundi Temple
I actually took this photo at Chamundi temple. A temple on a hill near Mysore. We didn't like the temple that much, partly because people were trying to rip us off, but it was nice to be away from all the noise, cars and pollution.
The most impressive part of the day was actually Mysore palace, but we were not allowed to take pictures inside. And it was so big that it was hard to take any photo's that did it justice. The palace was actually built by a Brit in 1913 and it is full of British things. Like stained glass and metal pillars from Glasgow and tiles from London. It was the most impressive palace I have ever seen. Every little detail was lookec after.
In the evening we had another nice meal and ended up having some drinks with an Irishman we met in the restaurant. The food has been really great in India so far, and were both still well after eating in all kinds of places. So hoorah for us!
