Talvipäivänseisaus

Winter solstice
Snapped this on my way to my parents through bus window. The sun was already so low at 1:45 p.m. that most of the time it was hiding behind a forest. Today sun rises at Varpaisjärvi (63.37 N, 27.75 E) 9:52 and sets at 14:24.
But at northenmost part of Finland, Utsjoki, sun hasn't risen at all since 27th November and it won't rise until 16th January.
