Waiting for Santa

Three excited girls wait for Santa's arrival in Baltinglass Library.

Meantime P and I were serving Fairtrade tea/coffee, and warm Fairtrade Apple juice with cinnamon for the adults upstairs in the library.

I just about caught Santa coming over the bridge in the Fire Engine. Later he gave out selection boxes to all the kids.

Just as well the weather held up, as the lights only go on in the town when Santa arrives and it is just a week before Christmas now.

Very busy day putting lights up at my house and getting the Christmas tree. What a laugh that was, with a neighbour and I whooshing Nordman Firs into each others vehicles. I never saw such a trunk on a tree, my big cat roams around easily underneath it and I think I could too!
