Nightmare journey to Wales

Seeing that the car is out of order, I decided to make the trip to Wales with the kids. I checked the Virgin trains web site and it stated that it was running a normal timetable so off we went. I had three kids and eight bags. Twelve hours later we got to ourn destination. What a nightmare of a trip. When we got to Euston, it was obvious that Virgin trains were not running a normal service. All trains were either delayed or cancelled. I can't remember hpw many trains we had to take. At one point, getting off a train in Birmingham I nearly lost two of the kids. They had got off the train and the door closed with me and my youngest daughter still on the train. I screamed so loud, I think they could here me back in Euston. When we eventually got to Pwllheli, a nice couple that we'd been chatting to on the train took pity on us and gave us a lift to the house. They threw all our bags into the back of their pick up truck. Our day reminded me of the film 'trains, planes and automobiles' .
