Christmas heart...

Hubby hung this up for me last night but I only just noticed this evening. It used to sit on the hearth in front of the gas fire which we've never used - having just had it serviced so we can use it (because it's so bloomin' cold!), it can no longer sit there, so we've hung it over the mirror above it - looks so pretty I'd like to leave it there all year round... :-)

This photo was taken in the dying moments of the day, between pukes - both kids have got some vomiting bug. Yuck. Wee C spewed all over the living room carpet (and herself) just as I was about to get her into her pyjamas, and continued in the same vein all evening. Wee D was fine, until he went to bed, that is. Just after falling asleep, he woke up to puke all over his bed and himself.

Then we were up and down all evening tending to one, then the other, then both at once! Simultaneous puking! The vomiting stopped around half-one in the morning, but we didn't sleep well, just waiting for one of them to get up again... Our washing machine was the last one still in action well into the night. :-(
