morning rush hour - with supervision

Alerted by Red to the fact that there was an eclipse this morning, I figured that I might see some of it if I managed up at the usual time. Efforts to take any sooopadooopalooona landscape shots were thwarted in the main by: a) not having a huge lens; b) only half power brain activity at 6am; and c) the superb timing of the large cloud banks just at the critical moment. But it was a lovely dawn and well worth the morning effort to watch the world waking up to this winter solstice. Thanks Red :)
