Total Lunar Eclipse
I landed in New York just a little before midnight, and got into Manhattan around 1am. But with a total lunar eclipse in the works, I decided I had to go have a look and try to capture an interesting image. I headed over to the Empire State Building with grandiose ideas of what would be possible. Not so much. But it was an incredible experience. I didn't have an especially long lens with me, though I'm not sure that would have really helped, other than to get a "portrait" of the moon all by itself. While this photo doesn't include the Empire State Building (I'll post one that does to Facebook), I liked the overall view.
