Wide Angle in South Africa

Well it's been an interesting day at Blipcentral what with the funding announcement and all but just when we thought it couldn't get much better, I got an email to say that we have been invited to exhibit life.turns at a major photographic event in South Africa.

Now that is amazing and what a pat on the back for all the Blippers who took part

The project is exploring photography as public practice.

As they say themselves 'WIDE ANGLE positions itself as a networking and research space in the field of art, interrogating the relationship between social engagement and creative practice. The forum highlights how photography can be used as a way of participating in the world, rather than as a way of observing it.'

We do that.

So one of us will have to go to South Africa in March - mmmmmmmm I wonder who that will be? I bet the weather will just right too.
