Before the Worst...

Having set off from Edinburgh for the drive back to Yorkshire today the snowy landscape looked beautiful, all until the thick snow began. By Ridsdale I realised there was no way I'd make it so I managed to find a room at the fantastic Gun Inn. I couldn't be more grateful for a friendly country pub with wonderful landlords, a warm room and a cosy bed.
