Getting a Grip

These Kahtoola Microspikes come highly recommended by many fellow hillrunners for running off-road on hard packed ice. Now that I have a pair, the next stage is to get out and give them a try.

As can be imagined, they are difficult to get hold of at the moment but Mrs Eyelad cleverly managed to bag a pair while on an expedition to the frozen wastes of central Edinburgh.
