Christmas Tree No.5

Today was the start of an adventure. I didn't know quite how much of an adventure when it started, but that's a story for tomorrow!

This is the Christmas tree at Hallgate United Reformed Church in Doncaster, which is my "home" Church (slightly odd, since I am no longer religious) and is the place where the Wonderpouse and I got married.

The Wonderspouse took the day off work today, so we got up later than usual and had a pancake breakfast. I then packed my bags and headed north to Doncaster. I spent the afternoon with my Mum at her house then went over to Church to rehearse with the orchestra run by my Welsh friend.

The concert was excellent - a festive evening of music and Christmasy tales. I'm not really "into" Christmas these days, but it was a lovely evening nonetheless.

Bedtime, after post-concert "eats" was around 2 a.m. which was rather late, but I slept pretty well considering I was in a strange bed away from home.
