Blue Tit

No silly self portraits today I'm afraid - instead one of the first photos I took this morning. Happily the tree is about 8 feet from my living room window so I just set the camera up by the nice warm radiator and took a few shots.

Usually they come out too dark but the snow does have its uses in that it reflects the light :)

Sadly I missed the flock of Long Tailed Tits that descended this afternoon - better luck another day.

An evening of doing not a lot ahead of me and come morning I anticipate attempting the three mile walk into work on one huge ice-rink - I'm not looking forward to that one little bit. Maybe my luck will be in and the buses will be running......
