Gulls

I'm pretty sure these are herring gulls, although they do have exceedingly red legs. But they posed beautifully for me, so they can have whatever colour legs they want. Maybe... could it be... perhaps it's Mr & Mrs Santa Gull?

the lake was gorgeous today. it was impossible not to take pretty pictures. so I took a few... then couldn't decide which to blip. I'll probably get round to putting the others up on flickr at some point, although I'm so behind with that project it's ridiculous.
