More Santa Malarkey

This time we were booked onto the Santa boat trip at the Falkirk Wheel. An email was duly sent out telling us that the canal was frozen and the adults would get a refund. So we went, kids had a bit of face painting and sat on the boat and got presents from Santa. In fairness they did what they could considering that they couldn't actually move the boat or the wheel and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves, so that was a winner.

As for the visitor centre itself it's been a couple of years since I've been and it's total crap. Outside you have a brilliant piece of engineering and inside a crap cafe and a shop selling tat. They've even ripped out all the educational stuff that was there when I was there last.

Anyway the shot reflects my curmudgeonly mood, it's snowing like crap here again, thought we'd smugly dodged the bullet this time. Is going for a Chinese essential travel? ....... think so.
