Nikah

They are officially married. Its just a matter of weeks when Madiha will be given away by her family and will come join us. The nikah ceremony (introduction of the families, the sermon and the vows etc) was short and was conducted by Col Anwar Ahmed who is the eldest of the family. Our whole family was present on the occasion and we all had a merry time. Later on we had sweet meat, bidh and kashmiri tea. Overall, a very enjoyable family function.

On the left is the happy couple and on the right is the sisters of the groom i.e. Mohsina (the youngest) on the right in purple and I am on the left in white (the eldest:)).

May God bless them both with a happy and prosperous married life ... Amen!!
