Merry Christmas!

Dave and I don't see each other over Christmas. We're both (stubborn) really looking forward to Christmas with our own families and for the last 7 Christmases we've always gone our separate ways so it's just normal now.

So today is fake Christmas! Trees up (finally), presents are unwrapped (living room is now carnage, you'd think we had a house full of small children), the Christmas tunes are going on, dinner preparations will commence shortly and snow is falling - it's just like the real thing.
