A Peek at the Sparrow

This is a white crowned sparrow. It does look like it's deliberately turned it's back to me to keep from having a photo made. (I've known these birds as white capped sparrows, but thought I'd use the official name here) I think they are one of the more striking sparrows. There is another sparrow coming out of the thicket. (They love the thickets and are ground feeders) It's a bit gray & gloomy but a very busy Christmas afternoon coming up. This is about my only time to do much blipping today :)
