a bright spot

I'm definitely looking for some bright spot today. Missed the sun on these in the morning, but I do appreciate these small blooms in my front yard. Not even sure what it is, but it's a bit of cheer.
Had 5 minutes to play with a new inexpensive macro/wide angle lens. Am sure I can get a bit more DOF.
A second bright spot: took my water damaged iphone to Apple and they replaced it for free! Everything synced back on from the computer. whew!
