Lights in Our 'hood

Before the 25th of this month, I hope to designate an entire evening to driving through our community to see all the lights and decorations. An amazing amount of planning, designing, and laboring has gone into this holiday tradition in the neighborhoods throughout our community.

This isn't our home, but it is just down the street and around the corner from us and it is the same floor plan as our house. I think it's beautiful. The photo should have been taken a little earlier before all the daylight was gone, but the "shoulda's and woulda's" won't make it happen. When using the flash, the raindrops were captured and that looked like snow, but this one without flash is better.

It's been a busy day; I won't write the boring details. It's Friday evening. The fire is roaring, the teapot is hot, and I'm celebrating that it is the 17th!
