She got blipped :)

I had a different idea in my head for today's blip but am using a PC that I'm not used to, plus photoshop which I'm not used to, and although I managed to create the picture I almost wanted I managed to save it wrongly and now can't reopen it and it's far too big to upload to blip before 2011 comes along and I give up and here's one I took earlier today.

I like it though! We went out to see Gran this morning for coffee and a present swap, we went with a couple of bags and a loose present in the boot of the car and came back with a boot FULL. I think my parents are going to have to be couriers of the presents and bring them with them in their car when they come down to ours for Christmas.

We were going to go to John Lewis for lunch as a treat (just me and Ben) but he was yawning in the car as we left and I was really hungry and I just couldn't face it. So I decided we'd make pancakes at mum and dad's house and headed back. No plain flour for pancakes! So it ended up being cheese on toast which we could've had at Steve's mum's house with her, although Ben didn't eat any of it and had mini cheddars and some cheese instead.

Ah well.

When he went off to sleep I nipped into town for some bits and pieces and a bit of time to myself, came back, made dinner, got Ben back up, had hot chocolate with him and dad, and ran Ben a bath as I'd finally managed to source some bath bubbles for him. He was a happy chap :)

Bath, dinner, bed... and then it was going to be Christmas-cake-making with mum. But Ben took so long to go to sleep (and I fell asleep too) that mum had made it by the time I surfaced! My blip was going to be the making of the cake. So when I get round to faffing with the pictures again I'll stick them on flickr.

Meanwhile, unnoticed by any of us, the weather went and blanketed us in snow!! I am such a child. Coat and scarf and boots on and out into the snow I went, camera in hand, took a few snaps (that's really all I can call them) and back in again, having made my mark on the front garden. Hee hee :)
