Nikki & Ro

After a day's work gowning students down at the university, a quick Jura at a local bar and a wander around asda, I got home before the snow started and began cooking.
I had some kind of telepathy tonight as my shopping trip yielded a cheap bottle of mulling wine and the ingredients for a vegan mince pie recipe. When mat got home I was already baking and, since he brought a friend and she invited another friend we had a nice, festive evening.
As we sat drinking mulled wine and eating hot mince pies, the snow decided to add to the christmassy theme & has contributed a good four inches over the last few hours. As Ro and Nikki left, all wrapped up for the snow, they were kind enough to pose for an informal portrait. I love Ro's smile in this and the strange shape made be Nikki's crossed fingers.
